SSC Stenographer Notification 2024 release on 26th July 2024, This notification can be for Group C and also D Stenographer articles. Exam is expected to be conducted in September of this year. Eligibility for SSC Stenographer Notification 2024
Interested candidates can go through the following eligibility criteria to know whether they can apply for the upcoming SSC Stenographer exams or not:
Citizenship:
- Indian citizen or subjects of Nepal/Bhutan.
- So, candidates from Myanmar, Pakistan, Sri Lanka – East African countries and Vietnam can apply for SSC Stenographer 2024.
Age Limit:
The age relaxation will be applicable as per Govt of India bilateral agreements.
Educational Qualification:
Eligibility Criteria for SSC Stenographer 2024: Minimum Education Qualifications to ApplyCandidates must have passed Intermediate from a recognized board of education.
A candidate should have to shorthand skills from recognized institutions.
The detailed educational qualification will be revealed only after the commission releases the SSC Stenographer 2024 notification.
SSC Stenographer Exam Pattern 2024 (Group C & D)
The CBT exam will have a total of 200 objective questions (50 from General Intelligence and Reasoning, 50 from General Awareness, and 100 from English Language and Comprehension).
Candidates will get 2 hours to complete the CBT exam and perform at their best. Each question will carry one mark and with a wrong answer, candidates will lose one-third of the marks allotted to that question.
Once candidates clear the CBT exam, they will have to appear for a shorthand skill test at the regional offices of the commission where they will have to show their shorthand skills in a 10-minute dictation in Hindi or English.
