Educational Qualification for Various Posts:
Nurse A: Class XII and Diploma in Nursing & Midwifery (3 years) or B.Sc. (Nursing) or Nursing Certificate with 3 years hospital experience or Nursing Assistant Class III and above from Armed Forces.
Category-I Stipendiary Trainee: 3 years Diploma (after SSC) with at least 60% marks in the relevant discipline.
Category-II Stipendiary Trainee: SSC with at least 50% marks in Science and Mathematics and 2 years ITI certificate in relevant trade.
X-Ray Technician: HSC with 10+2 or equivalent qualification with at least 60% marks in Science,1 year medical radiography/x-ray technique certificate and at least 2 years post qualification work experience.

Age: Not exceeding 25 years* for UG, and 36 years* for PG *These age limits are effective as on 5 th August 2024. Age relaxation will be as per Government rules.
- Nurse A: 18 to 30 years
- Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Diploma Holder: 18 to 25 years
- Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN) – Operator: 18 to 24 years
- X-Ray Technician (Technician-C): 18 to 25 years
Selection Process:
Written Test:- Written test shall be compulsory for all eligible candidates and it is the standard of written examination in professional subjects. It is a written examination, which is the initial stage of selection process that checks if the candidate has basic knowledge.
The written test qualified candidates will be short listed for the next stage of selection (personal interview or skill test) as may be applicable only. By conducting an interview or skill test as a part of the selection process, it will judge if they have relevant knowledge and practical skills for your role.

Registration Fee:
Only General and OBC candidates are required to pay the application fee. The fee details as per the posts are as follows:
- Category-A Stipendiary Trainee/Scientific Assistant (ST/SA) – Engineering/Science Graduate and Nurse-A: ₹150/-
- X-Ray Technician and Category-II Stipendiary Trainee (ST/TN): ₹100/-
- No Application Fee: SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen are not required to pay the application fee. Payment must be made online through the NPCIL Career Portal. Debit card, credit card, and net banking can be used to make the payment online.
