Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL), a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) tasked with implementing, operating, and maintaining the Metro Rail service in Bengaluru, is seeking applications from eligible ex-military personnel for a contract-based position in the Operation & Maintenance Wing. The position is for a period of 5 years, with the possibility of extension based on employee performance.
BMRCL Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Qualification:
Matriculation and three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Telecommunication / Electronics & Communication Engineering / Electrical Power Systems / Industrial Electronics / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification as certified by Defence Services / Unit.
Age, Pay & Allowances:
- Age Limit: Maximum 45 years as per notification.
- Salary: Rs.35,000 – Rs.82,660 per month, with 3% annual increment.
- Allowances: Allowances as per BMRCL O&M Wing rules applicable.
BMRCL Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Candidates will be selected for these posts through written examination. In which a total of 100 questions related to general knowledge, reasoning and tech will be asked. There will also be negative marking of 1/4 in this exam. BMRCL can also call the shortlisted candidates in the exam for interview/skill test etc. The written test will be conducted on 5th August 2024 at Zilla Sainik Board, Bengaluru. Date and time will be mailed to the candidates.
